About Riverhurst

Founded in 1911, Riverhurst Cemetery in Endicott, NY is a not-for-profit corporation operating a non-sectarian cemetery open to all faiths. The cemetery is conveniently located on East Main Street in Endicott and is easily accessible to the entire Tri-Cities area.


The governing Board of Directors of Riverhurst Cemetery are committed to the prudent financial management of the cemetery.

Visiting Hours are as follows:

Winter: Sept. through March 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily
Summer: April through Aug 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. daily

Feel welcome to plan your walks, jogging, and visits in order to enjoy our peaceful atmosphere and beautifully landscaped grounds. Sorry, at this time no dogs are allowed.

 

Our Heritage

 

Since 1911, Riverhurst Cemetery has had a long and proud history, catering to all faiths in the Southern Tier for many, many years.

We are the final resting place of people like George F. Johnson, the founder of Endicott-Johnson Shoe company, as well as many other famous citizens from our community's long history.

Our Facilities

 

Located on East Main Street in Endicott, our facilities hold a rich and proud history of service to our community.

​

We have 5 buildings making up our mausoleum housing both single and companion crypts.  We also offer lawn crypts.  We have above ground granite monuments (size restricted), memorial park-flush bronze (size restricted), and a columbarium for above ground burial of cremated remains.  It can accomodate 1 or 2 cremains (size restricted)
